Material

• Stainless Steel Wires, insert moulded into a UV protected polycarbonate base.

Other Information

• 32 x 1.4mm diameter wires along each 33cm strip. 
• For pigeons - Daytime perching, night-time roosting and some nesting area. Can also be used against Starlings. 
• Used for heavy pressure infestations and suitable for most building ledges. 
• Protects an area up to 265mm. 
• Height = 139mm - distance between outer spike tips = 200mm 
• Distance between wires = 21mm - base width = 45mm. 
• If installing 2 or more rows leave a gap of no more than 65mm between the outer tips of each strip. 
• To glue in place use either Avisil (ADH001) or Avifix (ADH006) adhesive. 
• Alternatively you can attach to windows, gutters and beams using the appropriate Aviclips.

How to Install

• AVISIL Adhesive is recommended for use where the surface is dry. 
• AVIFIX "High Tack" adhesive can be used where the surface is damp. 
• AVIPOINT™ bird spikes have a unique Glue Guide on the underside of the base to allow quick and easy application of the adhesive. 
• To open the adhesive, use the Adhesive Cutter Tool. Cut the cap of the tube by rotating the tool around the cap of the tube. 
• Cut the nozzle along the second of the three guide lines (10mm from tip) 
• Apply a 5mm band of adhesive in the Glue Guide of the AVIPOINT™ strip 
• Press the AVIPOINT™ strip firmly into place
